Sibonile Khoza
Sibonile Khoza, Co-ordinator and Research Director, Socio-Economic Rights Project, Community Law Centre, Cape Town, South Africa
In 2003, Sibonile was appointed as Co-ordinator of the Socio-Economic Rights Project of the Community Law Centre, University of the Western Cape. He is also a researcher in the same Project.
He obtained both his Masters Degree in Law (LLM) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Natal, Durban (UND). He also completed a six months practical legal training course with the School of Legal Practice of the same institution.
In 2001 – 2002, Sibonile held a position of a Provincial Co-ordinator of Street Law/Democracy for All Programme of the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, UND. He was also a human rights educator/trainer in the same Programme. He served as assistant co-ordinator (2000 - 2001). In 2001 – 2002, he was a convenor of the Provincial Forum for Democracy and Human Rights Education in KwaZulu-Natal.
Sibonile is also a member of the Board of Directors for Street Law Incorporated and RAPCAN (Resources Aimed at the Prevention of Child Abuse).
