From Joe Consumer at ThePopTort, Class Actions Rock and Rock and Rock Some More:
Class actions have always been among the most powerful tools to secure justice in America. Here are a few recent news items that sure prove that point in a wide variety of cases! (Keep Reading)

He's kidding, of course. Class action lawsuits have been a means of (1) lining the pockets of plaintiff attorneys, (2)keeping defense counsel gainfully employed and (3) providing the "beneficiaries" with an endless supply of $50 coupons toward purchases of Cadillacs, Jetstreams and Helicopters

Instead of class action lawsuits, why dont we have criminal lawsuits as the most powerful tool to secure justice in America?

Criminal sanctions do not generate massive wealth for the land pirates. Class actions have no validity, nor do they ever benefit the plaintiff. They just plunder productive entities.

I like how, clearly, Avenger and SC did not actually follow the link. If so they'd see how class actions are being used to: help hardworking people recover their stolen wages, help homeowners get compensated for defects that are not their fault and are expensive and inconvenient to replace, and help prison inmates not be treated like human cargo on an 1800s slaveship... You know, stuff that's just a little more important than a coupon.
But of course, that's a common tactic, attack and distract. Attack an important mechanism for providing redress for innocent people, distract us with anecdotes and embellishments that attempt, feebly, to delegitimize it.

Kia: You had the courage to support ending the privity obstacle to legal malpractice claims by adverse third parties.
If for decades, the majority of torts cases filed by the tort bar were weak with scienter, but caused great cost and damage, would you support a class action to recover the damage done to the class of innocent defendants? If you do, the lawyers of any state owe the doctors of that state $trillion. Because the judges allowed and colluded to promote weak litigation for the enrichment of their campaign donors, the employers of the cult criminals on the bench should also pay to the last bucket of the last firehouse. To deter.
When the lawyer allows itself to be sued as it sues all other productive entities, then the lawyer may open its vile, lying, land pirate mouth.
