I actually think we’re going to find a way to provide universal healthcare in the next ten years. Why? Because “A new study suggests that the huge volume of uninsured and underinsured people may be seriously cutting into drugmakers’ sales.” And if there’s one thing our Congress won’t stand for, it’s anything cutting into drugmakers’ sales.

I’ve written quite a bit lately about how the self-regulating medical profession isn’t regulating itself. Now we’ve got a case of the self-regulating legal profession failing to do the same. Why not let doctors regulate lawyers and vice versa? (That’s a joke, btw.)
