Kids to Sue to Be With Mom and Dad
According to this Seattle Times article, kids may be able to sue to get their parents’ once-terminated parental rights reinstated. This is a brand new legal question in Washington State, where the law is literally still being written on the issue. The preliminary hearing for the lawsuit—filed by two brothers who wish to be removed from foster care and reunited with their parents—happened yesterday. The two teenagers have court appointed attorneys.
