Coulter's remark was slick pretext to revive a sagging campaign. I foresee, President Edwards will use his wife to defend him when Al Qaeda picks on him in the news. "Stop the personal attacks. He is a caring person. He is not a pork eating infidel."

Coulter should sue Chris Matthews and Mrs. Edwards for something. I don't know what, but for something, misrepresentation and quantum meruit in the increase in Edwards donations.

I don't think "classy" is how I would describe it. "Opportunistic" fits better.

This is not to say that Coulter doesn't deserve to be tackled. Coulter presents herself so poorly that even when she is right (which is often the case) she turns people off by the way she expresses herself.
