9/11 Heroes
The recent revelation that NYC police officer Ceasar Borja did not “rush” to Ground Zero in the aftermath of the attacks, and instead served near Ground Zero months afterwards, was gleefully commented on by those opposing proper medical treatment and compensation for those with Ground Zero related illnesses.
In response, I made the point that despite the fact that Ceasar Borja might not have actually been as brave or valiant as “Ceasar Borja” as portrayed in the media, it is still highly likely that even the amount of exposure he had caused his respiratory illness.
More importantly, although Ceasar Borja might not have been “Ceasar Borja,” there are many just like him out there.
