Marc Dittenhoefer

MARC M. DITTENHOEFER is an attorney practicing primarily in the fields of tort liability, medical malpractice and consumer/patient safety. A founding partner in the firm of Blank, Goolnick & Dittenhoefer, he has been located in lower Manhattan within blocks of the World Trade Center for over 20 years. A 1976 graduate of Hofstra Law School, he is an experienced Trial Attorney and has earned several million-dollar-plus verdicts and settlements. A quarter-century member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, he has served many roles and functions within that organization: he is its current statewide Parliamentarian; Chair of its standing Committee on Automobile Litigation and No-Fault Insurance; member of the NY State Insurance Department's advisory panel on Arbitrators; lecturer for the Trial Lawyers Institute on trial practice and tort issues; active participant in Legislative initiatives at the State and City levels; veteran of judicial screening panels; and other activities. He has also participated as a judge in Moot Court competitions, an instructor in national trial practice and skills courses, and a lecturer/participant in programs for newly elected and appointed Judges at the Judicial Institute in White Plains, NY.
